Hi:
That's a new one.
Run without arguments, the engine should print a usage message\ about
the expected/allowed command-line arguments and quit.
Might be some compilation or LD_LIBRARY_PATH error.
Can you run the engine in a debugger?
E.g.
cd ...../extensions/src/ChannelArchiver/Engine
gdb O.linux-x86/ArchiveEngine
> run
.. and email me the results?
