Experimental Physics and Industrial Control System

Hi Martin,
We have recently installed several MAXv cards into the sector 30 beamline
here at the APS. In one crate there is a mix of VME58 and MAXv boards.
In another there are only MAXv boards (6). In all cases the channels
are set
up to run steppers, with several channels having encoder support enabled.
It is nice to be able to select encoder support on a channel by channel
basis,
with a small change to a setup line in the boot file. So far the MAXv
boards
are performing well, and we are planning to add them to other beamlines as
needed. We are running EPICS 3.14.7/synApps_5.1.1.

Dear all
do you have a "MAXv Multi-Axis Motion Controller"* from Pro-Dex (OMS)
in use? What is your experience?
I have seen the 2 entries from Ronald L. Sluiter and Jens Eden in the
Tech-Talk archive.
Thanks for any feedback and best regards,
Martin
