I wasn’t paying attention earlier when dbLoadTemplate was discussed, but
now I’m converting my soft IOCs. Under R3.14.8.2, I could load this
file on my soft IOC, but now it complains about “$”, “(“ and “)”.
They’re not just non-standard content – they’re essential. I guess
dbLoadTemplate has become useless for this.
file $(LINUX_STATS)/db/ioc_stats.template
{
{P=Test:IOC_lxAlrm_All}
}
file $(ALH)/db/logDate.template
{
{P=Test:IOC_lxAlrm_All}
}
(I tried to find what we’re doing in vxWorks, but we aren’t doing that.
Maybe you could never do that in vxWorks?)
Pam.
You just need to enclose any text that includes a $() macro in quotes.
