I'm using the latest version of the gateway with EPICS base 3.14.9
together with the Channel Archiver as a client. I'm curious why the
Archiver records so much less data through the gateway than it does
archiving the IOC data directly. I'd expect some difference, but it
seems like the Archiver hardly sees any value-change events through the GW.
I'm looking at about 1000 PVs with the MDELs set such that events should
be coming in at a high rate; in fact, the GW clientEventRate is 5000hz.
But the archiver is missing almost all the value changes (though it
does seem to catch severity changes). I'm using the 'no_cache' option
but it doesnt make any difference.

I'm purposely not using the 'archive' option. I dont remember the older
CA GW behaving this way.
