Hi Emmanuel,

I would try seqShow <specific ss>, that gives a little bit more information. I remember having issue when I had inexistent/down channels. Taken from the seq manual:

Connection Management
[..] Normally the state programs are not run until all database channels are connected. However, with the -c compile flag execution begins while the connections are being established [..]

PS to tech-talk administrator: I don't know if it's our mail server or the tech-talk exploder that needs a bit of caring, I saw replies 1 or 2 days after they had been posted. I since deleted them but remember seeing something like 'bounced' in the from field.

Hello,

I am trying to start a sequencer program with several/independent state
sets. As it turns out the command seqShow reports that 2 threads are
running. But my second thread doesn't appear to be running. For example
seqLog messages do not appear anywhere(console or log file), my PV are
not updated, etc.

Is it possible to have several ss entries in one stt file?
Is there a trick to start/stop a specific state set?

PS: seq-2.0.11

Regards,
