Title: No route to host

Hello,

à Unable to connect because "No route to host"

It would appear that there is, as suggested by the message, an IP level issue with Ârouting frames from pc1 to pc2. Is it possible to use the ping command (i.e. âping pc2â) to contact pc2? If that does not work then type ânetstat ârâ on pc1 and compare that output to the same type of ânetstat ârâ command on PC3.

à A call to "assert (_pTargetMutex == & mutexToVerify)" failed in ../../../include/epicsGuard.h line 84.

I am not sure what has caused this message â which is somewhat worrisome. It would be interesting to run the code under gdb, and obtain a stack trace for the thread that printing this message using the bt command (issued in gdb) . The stack trace produced in gdb will be easier to decipher if the CA client library has been built properly for debugging.

Jeff

Subject: No route to host

Hello,

When I'm using "caget" in a PC No.1 to read data in PC No.2,  the following message displayed:
*********************************************************************************
CAC: Unable to connect because "No route to host"

If using "caget" in a PC No.3 to read data in PC No.2,  the following message displayed:
*************************************************************************************

Here is the basic information:
PC No.1
linux kernel:   2.6.23.1-42.fc8
epics_base version:  3.14.9

PC No.2
linux kernel:   2.6.9-42.0.3.EL
epics_base version:  3.14.8.2

PC No.3
linux kernel:   2.6.11-1.1369_FC4
epics_base version:  3.14.8.2

I have used "export EPICS_CA_ADDR_LIST" command in both PC No.1 & 3 , and the IOC runs normally in PC No.2.

How can I solve this problem?
Thank you.
