Following the thread base-3.14.10: libcurses vs. libncurses <http://www.aps.anl.gov/epics/tech-talk/2008/msg01196.php> I said Knowing that I could redefine it with an additional, local, site-specific CONFIG.... file So I tried to implement a file os/CONFIG_SITE.Common.linuxCommon containing the Site specific changes and believing the header of the os/CONFIG.Common.linuxCommon file: but it turned out that the CONFIG_SITE file was never called.# Definitions for linux target builds # Sites may override these definitions in CONFIG_SITE.Common.linuxCommon So my question is, would it make sense to follow the strategy used in os/CONFIG.Common.{UnixCommon,RTEMS, vxWorksCommon} to add in general at os/CONFIG.Common.linuxCommon's end the following lines? In my case this turned out to work.#-------------------------------------------------- # Allow site overrides -include $(CONFIG)/os/CONFIG_SITE.Common.linuxCommon -include $(CONFIG)/os/CONFIG_SITE.$(EPICS_HOST_ARCH).linuxCommon I am actually not sure whether the second include is also needed, but it would make sense.
