Sounds like you did not have the "make" utility. Run this command at
the CygWin prompt
/usr/bin/cygcheck -cvrs > /tmp/cygcheck-cvrs.txt
and send me the output file: /tmp/cygcheck-cvrs.txt.
You might also attach a copy of your environment:
/usr/bin/env > /tmp/env.txt
This might help diagnose your development environment.
