RE: Dynamic Listing of PVs

Supporting this over the channel access server is another topic altogether. The protocol does not support it.
At NSLS II, we are looking at a tool to do introspection over an entirely different communication mechanism.
The support here would then be incorporated into the Java IOC, using PVData and the version 4 Channel Access.
