synApps includes motorRecord support for the PCI based ACS SPiiPlus controller.
It looks like the CM-3 uses the same command set (ACSPL) so it should
be compatable.
The SPiiPlus MMI and programming language is not hard to deal with and
handles complex applications (hexapods).
