It might be best to ask my users what they think would make sense, but I
will answer for them anyway. If I understand you, your point is that
the new labels themselves can take up more space 10 vs. 0.000053 and
therefore leave less room for the graph proper. That is true.
However, in the example I gave there is loss not just due to the
increased label width, but also because the border has increased. If
the original border was retained there would be more space for graph proper.

Are you saying that you want edm to anticipate the space it needs to
display all formats in advance or are you saying that you want
0.000053 to fit in the same space taken by 10? Of course, if you give
the graph more real estate, the difference will seem much less
pronounced.

Hi,
Our EDM user's have noticed that the X-Y Graph widget's zoom feature
does the zoom but in a smaller area than the original graph. So
this means the zoom does not zoom so well as it could if it made use
of all the space originally and still available. I have attached
two images to illustrate. They are labeled before and after. Each
image has two widgets only the top on gets zoomed. The bottom is for
scale. Anybody see things issue also? Any fixes?
Thanks,
Carl Schumann
