Eighth International Workshop on Personal Computers and Particle Accelerators (PCaPAC 2010)

PCaPAC traditionally focuses on low cost control systems using PC technology for control and data acquisition systems. PCaPAC also has a focus on emerging technology including Web 2.0, cyber-security, middle-ware, FPGAs, real-time operating systems, use of commercial-off-the-shelf systems and modern rapid development environments.

Original papers (not previously published or presented) from the field of accelerator control and data acquisition including experiment data acquisition systems with a special emphasis on smaller scale system and industrial systems are invited.

The scientific program will include invited talks, contributed orals, posters, and workshop sessions. Special break-out sessions are planned on Control System Studio, Labview, synchrotron experiment data file standards, and use of RTEMS. 

All contributed abstracts are to be submitted identifying a preference for oral or poster sessions in one of the following relevant sub-categories:
