I would like to ask everyone to be careful with this version. You should 
only use it for evaluation. Do _not_ expect that this version gets further 
maintained until further notice. The problem is that I acted in the belief 
that there was no one working on the sequencer and that there was no active 
maintainer. I was wrong on both accounts. I have contacted the current 
maintainer and I am trying to resolve the matter, but it may turn out that 
I have to discard this development branch. In this case I can of course try 
to start over based on a another version. Whether I will succeed with this 
is unclear, as I cannot momentarily estimate how much work this will be.
