Andrew,
The TDS3000 support does not support the digital channels of MSO4000
series, but may work with the analog inputs with some minor changes to
the device support. The TDS3000 also includes the TDS5000 series, so you
can use that as a template to develop the analog side of the MSO4000
scopes. It looks like the MSO4000 follows most of the basic commands
used in both the 3000/5000 series. The digital inputs I'm sure can be
implemented, but you may want to create a whole new support for MSO4000
series, which the TDS3000 support would be a good starting point.

Hey everyone,
Has anyone written driver/device support for the the Tektronix MSO 4000 series of oscilloscopes? My model is specifically the 4054. Is this at all similar to the TDS 3000 for which support exists? I'm also interested in support for the Rhode&Schwarz ZVL Network analyzer. How generic are the commands that Tektronix, for instance, uses? Has someone written a base class with the common commands supported?
Cheers,
