A new testing version of EPICS Base is now available from the usual download 
area and http://www.aps.anl.gov/epics/base/R3-14/12.php

Please try to find some time in the next week to test it, I would much rather 
that we find and fix any issues *before* the final release comes out.

We had to fix several last-minute issues in the -pre1 release and we don't 
think the code has had enough testing yet to call it a release candidate yet, 
so we made this one a second pre-release.

The earliest date that the -rc1 could come out is now November 3, and the 
final 3.14.12 release can't be before November 10th.
