Hi Mark, Eric,

I had a problem with my test setup Friday night when I went to test the

device clear commands via asyn. I tried again this morning and both the

device clear and selected device clear via the asyn record (.UCMD and

.ACMD) worked fine and solved my problem with the Kikusui power supply

not responding.

Yes, it should perform both addressed and unaddressed Device Clear operations.
Do you have a GPIB bus analyzer to see what's happening?
