We have not yet any hardware running Xenomai but we will have until the end of this year: A VME board based on a P2020 PPC.
The skin concept looks interesting and while one may get best access to all features through the native skin, it may be easier to start with the vxWorks skin because of the already existing vxWorks support in EPICS. That may even allow to port many still vxWorks dependent drivers directly to Linux.
