I thought I saw something about the vxWorks apis, but I can't find anything
about it in the documentation. If their emulation is complete then you
shouldn't have to make any changes to the Base source code, but I suspect it
will turn out to be harder than that so don't completely discount the native
skin idea. I would encourage converting existing vxWorks drivers to use
devLib which makes them more portable and useful to others in the community,
but I realize that's not always possible.
