I am told that the PLC is using revision 13.04 with a newer Ethernet adapter card. We will be looking at this some more tomorrow to see what the ether_ip driver sees at the time o the dropout. Thanks, Marty Steven M. Hartman wrote:

We've seen some buggy firmware versions which caused the PLC to occasionally drop its ethernet connection. Scanned ai records with ether_ip show a value of 0.0 with a READ error when the network connection is dropped.
