Hi Paul,

We still have some CAMAC systems in use with the Kinetic Systems 2917 VME interface and 3922 crate controller.  It is a parallel bus system, not a serial highway.

Our NSTX experiment (unfortunately) continues to use CAMAC. Our
MVME-177 and Hytec VSD 2992 hardware has served us well and are ready
to be retired and replaced with new hardware.  I'd be interested to
hear what people are using to drive their CAMAC serial highways.  I
asked a couple of years ago too, just looking for any updates.
