Hi Pierrick,

I'm not quite sure what you mean. Typically there is not support for particle detectors directly, but rather for the readout electronics. Ortec charged particle detectors can be read out with a variety of electronics. For example you could use an analog Single Channel Analyzer to detect events above some threshold, and put the TTL events into an EPICS scaler. Or you could put the analog pulse output into an EPICS Multichannel Analyzer (MCA) and produce a histogram of the energies of all events.

Let me know more specifically what you would like to do and I'll try to point you in the right direction.

Mark

Subject: Charged Particle detectors?

Hi,
Does anyone have support of any Ortec charged partcle detectors?

If not Ortec (we've not purchased them yet), does anyone have any
support for other manufacturers?
Thank you,
Pierrick
