No problem for ACQ132CPCI to capture 4 x 10MSPS, and, although the basic
ADC devices are 14 bit, it can run with 8x oversampling which will
increase the effective resolution by 1.5 bit.
Continuous acquisition to Ethernet 4ch x 2b x 10MSPS = 80MB/s would be a
challenge for any system; if the capture is pulsed then things become a
lot easier, for example ACQ132CPCI will sustain an average output rate
to Ethernet of > 25MB/s while simultaneously capturing data.
This is a single slot self contained networked device, fits in a 1U
crate and includes an EPICS IOC on board..

The D-Tacq line has recently improved its streaming capability. I am
fairly certain they have something for 10 or 20 MHz.

Hi all,
We are looking for a mid-range ADC that will capture 4 channels of 10MHz data simultaneously with a resolution of 16-bit and can be hardware triggered. We're not worried about latency, but the device would have to be able to stream data off while capturing, so we are thinking Ethernet probably makes the most sense. Does anyone have any recommendations?
I was thinking something like this, has anyone used it / written an EPICS driver for it?
