display is running 
on finlc01:

Are you sure that there isn't a second network route between this client
and 
server using an IP subnet 0.0.0.*?  Does the output from "ifconfig -a"
on this 
client machine show an interface to such a network?  It might be a
private 
administrative network that your IT group use.

You might want to take a look at your PV gateway's configuration of its 
server-size addresses; if this is using a wildcard, try changing it to
an 
explicit list of addresses maybe.
