SNS Data Acquisition and Controls Software Engineer-NB50380199
Develop software solutions in a team environment in support of the neutron scattering instrument beam lines at the Spallation Neutron Source (SNS). The position will contribute to the development, operation and ongoing support of the beam line data acquisition and control systems to ensure reliable and maintainable operations while enhancing the capability and functionality of these systems. The beam lines are currently transitioning to EPICS.

Control System Software Engineer-NB50379430
The Control System Software Engineer develops control system software tools for the Spallation Neutron Source (SNS) accelerator and beam lines to increase availability, improve experiment automation, and to allow efficient data acquisition. This role provides control room operators, beam line scientists, and visiting beam line users with superior software for graphical operator interfaces, alarm handling, and experiment automation within a large-scale distributed control system infrastructure. This position will contribute to the Control System Studio project.


Scientific Information Systems Team Leader / NB50393344
Lead and manage the Scientific Information Systems (SIS) Team in Data Operations to provide information systems and technical infrastructure using relational databases and web technologies to support the scientific mission of the Neutron Sciences Directorate (NScD). These systems support the NScD user program, neutron source operations and scientific data collection and management.
