Hi Bob,

I am glad to hear the idea of this initiative. My group (team of 4) is assigned a work on EPICS and CSS. We are new to technologies, and looking for beginner to intermediate level of training in both- EPICS and CSS.

From the infrastructure point of view, we have couple of PCs with EPICS base, Linux- Fedora-19 and CSS 3.1.6 installed.

If required, we can have mechanism to share the desktops, using VnC with the trainer.

Looking forward to attend the training.

Vikas

It has come to my attention that it is a good idea to organize training in the community.
I would like to ask
1) anyone willing to organize and offer training to contact me
2) anyone needing training to contact me with the specific training you need - overview, database, edm or CSS, etc.....

I will try to compile this and help to match up willingness to train and need.
There are already a number of places that do this locally - so if you are willing to open that up to the community, please let me know.
Thanks,
Bob
