I am currently using an evaluation license version of VxWorks 6.9 and experienced
the same compiler fault that was reported in core-talk back in 2010:
http://www.aps.anl.gov/epics/core-talk/2010/msg00172.php
I am trying to cross-compile EPICS R3.14.12.4 using the Wind River VxWorks 6.9
supplied compiler for a ppc604_long target running on a linux-x86_64 host (CentOS
6.1 64-bit).
Has anyone also seen this with 6.9 and do you know whether WRS have issued a fix? I
had hoped it would have been fixed in 6.9. I have been in touch with Wind River UK
but they have not been able to help me so far.
The work-round described previously appears to work (switching off optimization),
Regards,
Philip
