You do not need to make any changes if you are running the calc module version that comes with synApps 5-8. 

The file is called sCalcoutRecord.c, not sCalcout.c.

I have a little question.
The website( http://epics.web.psi.ch/software/streamdevice/doc/scalcout.html) said:

Up to release 2-6 (synApps release 5.1), the scalcout record needs a fix. In sCalcout.c at the end of init_record add before the final return(0).

I use redhat server 6.0 (64) , base3.14.12.5 ,synApp_5_8.
Does I need to fix it ?  And I found that that I did not have the file(sCalcout.c).
