Sir, I am now in trouble about the iocshell commands. I am not able to run MCA commands (mcaget, mcaput etc.) in either iocshell or Octave. Actually , I had this problem a few days ago while dealing with the Sequencer extension. I couldn't also do at that time What I have done so far is : I add the path in Octave like this .. addpath("/opt/epics/extensions/lib/linux-x86_64") addpath("/opt/epics/extensions/src/mca/matlab") I tried to add registrar() into the dbd file. But, which dbd file should I add this to ? And which registrar() should I add to the dbd file ? I mean, a few years ago, according to do this message (http://www.aps.anl.gov/epics/tech-talk/2014/msg01886.php) I've done the steps. As an extra question, let's say I could do all of these things and I could use the commands. Once I write a script in Octave, where should I save this file ? Should that saved in my_example that I'm running in the iocshell ? If it is that so, which direction should it be ? Thanks in advance..Best regards.. Hulusi Öz
