Hi, Pete!
Maybe I missed an announcement, but when did this become the case?
On the EPICS website, it lists the following release series:
R3.16 Developer releases
R3.15 Current releases
R3.14 Stable releases
R3.13 Frozen, still used in a few places
R3.12 Older versions, fossilized
R3.11 Pre-historic
I thought R3.14 was the recommended series for production use. Has
this changed? What's the difference between the "current" and "stable"
series?
Thanks!
Lewis
P.S. Playing netiquette police, Pete, you top-posted! I've corrected it
in this email. See [1] which is noted in [2]. Maybe no one abides by
this anymore, though, now that replies might come from a mobile device
which might default to top-posting (e.g. Apple's iOS Mail app)?
P.P.S. Playing netiquette police, Paramveer, you didn't provide a
subject in your email. I've added a subject to this email. It's nice
to include a subject in emails to the list so that readers can tell what
your email is about. See [3] which is noted in [2].
