Hi All

 

The EPICSQT qugui application can support caQtDM widgets but needs to be built with caQtDM support.

This feature has been available for some time, but is not in the pre-built windows version (epicsqtWinpackage_3_3_1_gcc_32) referred to below.

Unlike EPICSQt widget, CaQtDM widgets need to be managed by whatever application is creating them. The caQtDM package provides the libraries required for this and if built with caQtDM support, qegui will manage caQtDM widgets created within it.

That said, the latest version of caQtDM is not currently supported, but this can easily be rectified.

The .ui files included in synApps were written by adl2ui, which is part of caQtDM, not of EPICS QT.

It's been a while, but the last time I checked, EPICS QT widgets worked with caQtDM, but caQtDM widgets did not work with EPICS QT.

I used the epicsqt gui tools recently for the first time.

When I open the ui files in the synApps package using the qegui.exe from the epicsqtWinpackage_3_3_1_gcc_32 package，all the widgets are invisible!

Does anyone know the reason?
