Thanks to Marty Kraimer, epics4 normative types are fully implemented now through the epics4 caQtDM plugin. The plugin can be built on
linux and macos. However epics4 cannot be built for ios and
android even when epics3 could be built for these platforms. I wonder if builds for these platforms have already been successfully done.
One can now find a new version in the development path of caQtDM github. V4.1.5.
Anton Mezger, the main author of caQtDM will retire from his duties as Accelerator Operations Manager. He will continue for a 20% job at the Paul Scherrer Institut, mainly for further developing caQtDM. Also he will be free to support your
wishes or to help with any problems. He has family living in the US and could therefore be present for any discussions on further development or help with implementations.
caQtDM, being the only and unique ca viewer at PSI, will of course be developed and supported in the future. You may always ask Anton Mezger and/or Helge Brands.
