Thank you, Iain.
How do you let stream device know that you want exactly 140 numbers? Only setting NELM is sufficient?

I have used something similar. You would use the %r format specifier, in I believe something like:
In “%2.2r”
You may need to add the “#” flag to account for endianness. For this you would set the separator to be blank.
Iain.
Good morning to all!
I have an equipment that sends 140 16-bit words in sequence. I want to put the 140 numbers in a waveform using Streamdevice.
The manual says:
Separator = "";
String. Affects out and in commands.
When formatting or parsing array values in a format converter (see formats and waveform record), what string to write or to expect between values?
and gives this protocol example:
array_out {separator=", "; out "an array: (%.2f)";}
How can I address my case using something like the separator idea, when I don't have a separator, but a fixed byte size for each number?
Thank you for all help!
