New releases of the following areaDetector modules are now available.

These are the R1-3 release notes for ADSupport:

 

* Added support for GraphicsMagick. It is based on GraphicsMagick version 1.3.25.

  This support is used by NDFileMagick in ADCore and by the ADURL driver. This has been tested on Windows and Linux. It is disabled for vxWorks.

  Thanks to Peter Heesterman for doing this.

* Modified xml2Src to enable building nanoftp.c and nanohttp.c which are used for transferring files in GraphicsMagick.

* Added support for the HDF5 hl (high-level) library. This is in a new hdf5_hlSrc directory.

These are the major items from the R3-1 release notes for ADCore:

 

### GraphicsMagick

* Changes to commonDriverMakefile and commonLibraryMakefile so they work GraphicsMagick both from its recent addition to

  ADSupport R1-3  (GRAPHICSMAGICK_EXTERNAL=NO) and as a system library (GRAPHICSMAGIC_EXTERNAL=YES).

* Added support for 32-bit images in NDFileMagick.

* Improved the documentation for NDFileMagick.

 

### NDPluginDriver

* Fixed limitation where the ArrayPort string was limited to 20 characters. There is now no limit.

* Fixed problem with the value of the QueueFree record at startup and when the queue size was changed.

  The queue size logic was OK but the displayed value of QueueFree was wrong.

These are the R3-0 release notes for areaDetector:

 

### Requirements:

* ADCore R3-1

* ADSupport R1-3 or higher

* asyn R4-31 or higher

* EPICS base 3.14.12.4 or higher

 

### Added GraphicsMagick to ADSupport.

### Changed ADCore to allow building with GraphicsMagick either from ADSupport or using a system library.

### Added support for 32-bit images in NDFileMagick in ADCore.

### Changed configure/EXAMPLE_CONFIG_SITE.local to use XXX_EXTERNAL=NO for all libraries in ADSupport.
