I have tested the following that the following build OK
Visual Studio 2010, EPICS_HOST_ARCH=windows-x64
Visual Studio 2010, EPICS_HOST_ARCH=windows-x64-static
The following fail with the same error that Kevin reported:
Visual Studio 2015, EPICS_HOST_ARCH=windows-x64
Visual Studio 2015, EPICS_HOST_ARCH=windows-x64-static
