Hi Neil,

You might look at the FLIR Oryx ORX-10G-123S6M-C.  It is 4096 x 3000 at 68 fps.  So it does not quite meet your specs in the vertical dimension, but it is simple to interface because it is 10 Gbit Ethernet and it is only $3,950.  How much is the CMOSIS CMV50000 camera you are looking at, and is that CameraLink?

I am writing a driver for the Spinnaker SDK that this camera uses.

The driver is not finished, but it is currently functional and I am using it for both GigE and USB-3 cameras.

Subject: 4k x 4k camera options?

Hi All,

One of our beamlines has requested a camera capable of recording images of at least 4k x 4k pixels, ideally at 50+ fps.  We currently have one of the CMOSIS CMV50000 based cameras in mind, but wondered if anyone could recommend any other cameras that are worth considering?

Regards and thanks,

Neil
