Dear all,
As we have decided to officially add OPC UA to the supported interfaces in ITER's CODAC Core System, I have published the Software Requirements Specification version 1.0 that we will use for design and implementation.
This module is based on the prototype work of Bernhard Kuner at HZB/BESSY II and uses the C++ Based OPC UA Client/Server SDK by Unified Automation as low level driver.
Schedule: Design is under way; we expect to have a minimal implementation by the end of summer (tagged as milestone "0.9" in the SRS) and a full implementation by the end of the year. Code will be available on GitHub.
