Experimental Physics and Industrial Control System
|
Hi Ernest,
Here at APS, we are extensively using PVA/EPICS 7 for various control aspects of APS/APSU accelerator.
Here are some highlights:
- EPICS V4 for high performance DAQ for
- Fast feedback system;
- Power Supply data out of FPGA;
- BPM turn-by-turn data;
- LLRF;
- We have been using EPICS 4.6 + 3.15.4 for more than a year in production with our real beam and is working on updating to EPICS 7
- pvaPy
- GUI, simulation, server, data analysis
- Area detector with PVA plugins for beam diagnostics, which is with EPICS 7
Thanks,
Guobao
Hi everyone,
For our controls software development and deployment road map here at SLAC; we are pursuing EPICS PVA and EPICS 7.
I would like to ask if other facilities in our EPICS community are also investing/pursuing EPICS PVA?
Thanks in advance for your response and feedback.
Cheers,
