Hi Jesse,
I just added support to the driver and .template file for a new InputPolarity record for the SIS3820. I have also updated the medm screen, and the .req file for autosave.
I am away from the lab, so I have not tested it yet. But you can get the master branch of mca from Github and see if it works for you.
Mark

Subject: Inverting control inputs on SIS3280?
Hi all,
I have an SIS3280 that I want to use the inhibit count signal for (this can be done on input 4 in mode 2, for example). Unfortunately,I want to inhibit on a TTL low signal, while my SIS3820 requires an active high inhibit. The SIS3820 does support inverting the control inputs, by setting bit 19 in the Acquisition Operation Mode. I didn't see it as a record in the documentation (http://cars9.uchicago.edu/software/epics/mcaStruck.html ). Is there a way to do this from the EPICS driver? If not, is this something that you would consider adding to the driver?
(I could invert the signal externally, but it would be nice to avoid that complication)
Thanks.
- Jesse
