Dear Abdalla,
I've used stock fanout, dfanoout or seq records in a cascaded manner for
most of the problems I have encountered.
Usually I use a python script to generate a tree of these records.
A tree of depth N gives you access to a max of 10^N PVs. There is some
overhead to this solution, of course, but depending on the application
this way of doing may beat having to include the additional custom
record.
The result will be similar to:

record(seq, "param_seq_A")
