I'm providing EPICS support for a Phoebus application using the Allen Bradley Ether/IP driver.
I've hit an error condition (Invalid write), and before asking for help with that, I'd like to gather more details. I've dug around the source and saw a lot of print statements with error messages, which I'm assuming get logged. I've found this script which appears to start a logger: ether_ip-2-27/iocBoot/iocether_ip/run_iocLogServer.sh # This is just for getting an ioc log server to run, # for testing message capture from the driver. # Read the appdevguide. export EPICS_IOC_LOG_FILE_NAME=`pwd`/ioclog.txt export EPICS_IOC_LOG_PORT=6505 iocLogServer I've not located the appdevguide, or the binary / src to iocLogServer. I'd really like to see what's going on with the driver to better understand the source and the application notes (THAP020). Cheers all, dpc
