StreamDevice 2.5 is not compatible with base 3.15 or higher. It checks
for 3.14 and if that fails it assumes 3.13.
When upgrading I suggest to work step wise in this order:
1. upgrade StreamDevice
2. upgrade asyn
3. upgrade base
