Hello Heinz,
Since Archiver Appliance mgmt (for add/delete/change PVs) uses port 17665 and the built-in web viewer uses port 17668, so my solution was to start a firewall in the machine running Archiver Appliance and blocked port 17665 or gave access of port 17665 to only specified remote machines. This way, only local machine and specified remote machines can add/delete/change PVs, and all the machines can access the built-in web viewer.
