Hi Kaz,
If you look at the README.md for the module you tried to clone it says this (I didn't change the font!)
******************
!!This Is A Deprecated Module!!
This module was just a wrapper around the StreamDevice support from PSI. Since the last release, the PSI support has been expanded into a full-fledged EPICS module. This repository is no longer necessary and won't be updated.

You should use this repository instead:

Subject: Stream module git link broken?
Hi Dirk,
I am trying to clone
git clone https://github.com/epics-modules/stream
which is successful, except for the empty StreamDevice folder.
Earlier this afternoon, I cloned the same module, and the folder was not empty; however, it contained only tags up to 2_7_7.
This seems similar to the issue https://epics.anl.gov/tech-talk/2018/msg02260.php
Am I doing something wrong?
K
