Hi Mark,

There may be some official documentation somewhere but our wiki page on what we term RECSIM mode might give you a good starting point, and I know where to find it.

The basics of an implementation would be to set the SIML field to "Yes", and the SIOL field to a suitable soft channel record. SIML is whether or not to simulate, SIOL is the simulator location.
