We also have areaDector 3.6 ADPilatus running on old SUSE 10.3. What I remember is I had difficulty compiling it on this SUSE. Some tool chain packages were missing and I couldn't find where to get them. I think it was re2c. What I remember doing is I half built (i.e run through preprocessor) code on CentOS and finished building on SUSE. I have reused the executable on other SUSE systems. But there were no problems with camserver compatibility.
