Hi Udit,

For installing asyn and other synApps modules the first time I recommend downloading this script and running it:

https://github.com/EPICS-synApps/support/blob/master/assemble_synApps.sh

I recommend using the "full" argument when running that script, which will do full clones of each github repository.

There is some documentation on how to install it here:

But those could use some updating.

Subject: How do I get started with EPICS synApps, asyn and CS-Studio

Hi,

So recently I've installed the EPICS-Base and i'm currently trying to install the synApps, asyn drivers and package but i'm unable to install them as I couldn't find a proper documentation regarding them.

Keeping that aside, I installed the CS-Studio and again there I couldn't find a proper documentation for it, as in how to import PVs from a running EPICS base file to the CS-Studio.

Please help me with this.
