Hi Shuei,

I made a very simple test medm screen with a rectangle whose visibility depends on a PV.  It seems to work fine, it is always present and black, or absent.  It is never white when the IOC is running.

Here are the versions that medm is built with an running on:

medm 3.1.9

Centos7

Base 7.0.4

If you edit this screen to use a PV on your system does it fail?  If not then please make the minimal modifications so that it does fail.

Dear colleagues,

I am facing a problem in MEDM such that rectangular with dynamic
visibility is not shown as expected.

The symptoms are following:
1) rectangular is drawn in white box, as if the PV is disconnected,
when visibility condition is true on medm startup.
2) rectangular stays invisible even if the condition turns from false to true.

In both cases, rectangular will be shown as expected when the adl
window is iconified and then deiconified. It seems that oval does not
have this problem.

I realized this issue in medm 3.1.11, and seems that 3.1.16 downloaded
from github still have it. We are running medm on both Scientific
Linux 6 and CentOS7, along with EPICS base R3.15.8.
