Andy,
Is there a specific reason to have 8 scopes within 1 IOC?
Possible to run 1 IOC per scope, and you can have 8 IOCs for your 8 scopes?
It seems easier and more flexible to have one IOC for one scope.
Thanks,
Guobao
All,
First off, thank you all for the replies to my previous question about arrays. Greatly appreciated everybody’s contributions!
I was wondering if anybody here has been able to run eight or more Keysight oscilloscopes in st.cmd without having disconnection issues happening from time to time. If so, I have a few questions:
- Because I am using the slow-scan architecture, I have a total of eight instances of a fanout record, one for each of the eight Keysight oscilloscopes. Additionally, I have extra fields
available in each of the eight instances. Is it better to use less fanout records?
- What read, write, reply, and lock timeouts did you use in the StreamDevice protocol file?
Thank you,
Andy
