Did you edit st.cmd?  The distributed version does not contain a line with #! and the name of an application.

You will need to edit st.cmd to select Koyo1.cmd rather than sim1.cmd.

Then run the test IOC from the modbus/iocBoot/iocTest directory by typing:

../../bin/linux-x86_64/modbusApp st.cmd

Subject: EPICS-MODBUS plus SNC Sequencer in and IOC

Hey EPICS masters,

I'm stuck. As the subject suggests, I'm trying to create an application to communicate with a DL205 plc via Modbus TCP and control via a state machine.

I've not been able to get the modbusApp testIOC running. I've followed the instructions and suggestions in the docs. Having configured a TCP driver in Koyo1.cmd, and checked RELEASE for the correct paths, running ./st.cmd closes silently.

How do I make use of the .template files to create the database for the sequencer?
