Hi John
What I meant in my question is what is the correct way to run an edm GUI that does not come with a color and font files? If I load any other font or color files the GUI's fonts and colors gets really messed up.
Best Regards
Abdalla

Abdalla,
Edm uses the environment variable EDMFILES to locate the color and font file. This variable is used to locate other files as well so the following will override the locations individually:
EDMCOLORFILE
EDMFONTFILE

Whenever we have to run an EDM gui it fails because it could not find color.lst and font.lst and so I have to include one of the list files we have for the libera for example and so the GUI gets really messed up. Is there some kind of default color and font definitions that fits any edl file in general? Or every EDM GUI has to come with its own color.list and font.list?
Best Regards, Abdalla.
